Frequently asked questions

Q: What are your COVID-19 procedures?

Our priority is to keep you as safe as possible, and prior to re-opening the salon we have implemented a number of changes which we would like to make you aware of. During the time the salon has been shut, we have completed the Coronavirus (COVID-19) Infection Prevention and Control course which is accredited by the Guild of Professional Beauty Therapists Ltd, the UK trade body for our industry. We have since made a number of changes in the way that we operate that you will notice when you next visit.

If you or any of the people you live with feel ill or display any symptoms of C0VlD-19 – please advise us as soon as possible and DO NOT COME TO THE SALON FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT. We have amended our booking terms and conditions and you will not be charged for any appointments which you miss due to illness. You need to answer NO to all the following questions.

1.     Do you have a high temperature?

2.     Have you developed a new and persistent cough?

3.     Have you recently lost your sense of taste and smell?

4.     Have you been in contact with anyone who has tested positive to COVID-19 in the past 14 days?

For your safety and to maintain social distancing, we ask that you attend your appointments as close to the appointment time as possible. Please do not turn up early for appointments as this may mean that you come into contact with other clients who are just leaving. If necessary, wait in your car or outside the salon. Please come alone to limit the people in the salon at one time. You will have access to soap and water to wash your hands with as soon as you enter the salon and we will also have hand sanitiser available for you to use when you come into the salon. We ask that you wear a face mask. If you do not have personal protective equipment (PPE) then we will provide you with some. Please don’t be surprised or upset when our staff use PPE during your visit and during your treatment. This will include disposable gloves, face masks and aprons where appropriate. All of these procedures have been implemented for your safety and that of our staff. We will continue to take advice from the Government and the NHS regarding safe practice and will amend them as necessary. 

Q: Do I require a Patch test for your tinting and lash treatments?
A: Yes, if you haven’t had this treatment at OUR salon within the last 6 months or your medical position has changed. There will be no exceptions.

Q: Do you treat under 18’s?
A: We do, but only when accompanied by their Parent or Guardian.

Q: What length does my hair have to be for it to be waxed?
A: The hair needs to be about the length of a grain of rice so about 1/4 inch.

Q: Do you offer discounts?
A: Students receive 10% discount on Mondays and Tuesdays.
